I highly advise against using Micro SD cards with the Wii U, they will work, but I’ve heard of so many people having issues that arise from using a Micro SD instead of a standard SD. The thing is, SDXC isn’t officially supported by the Wii, so compatibility is spotty. I myself have had issues with sandisk SDXC cards in the past, other brands like Lexar have been fine.
